1975

Louis Tenenbaum opens a fine antiques and jewelry store in our first location, a restored mansion on Fannin Street.

1982

Tenenbaum relocates into the new, high-end Warwick Hotel on Post Oak Boulevard near The Galleria. The Warwick is now a Hilton property.

1988

Now with 13 years of history as one of Houston’s premier estate jewelers, the store is moved to The Pavilions shopping mall, joining fellow tenants Saks Fifth Avenue and Ungaro, among others.

1996

The store moves to another new home, this time to the Galleria, named one of the world’s best shopping malls by Forbes magazine.

2006

Home at last! Our current location is found in the heart of the Galleria district, in a stand-alone storefront once occupied by Bailey, Banks & Biddle.

2010

After much thought and consideration, Louis Tenenbaum, together with his wife Kim, passes the reins to new ownership. Tony Bradfield and Kevin Black merge their successful San Antonio business, Charles Anthony Jewelers, with Louis Tenenbaum Estate Jeweler to become Tenenbaum & Co.

2015

As we celebrate 40 years of business, we look to the future while being mindful of our past. Louis Tenenbaum’s legacy lives on as we expand, grow, and continue to serve the Houston community and beyond.
