All The BUZZ at Florescence

THE FOUR Cs Calendar | April 28-29, 2015 Characters | River Oaks Garden Club; Houston Garden Club; The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston Cause | Florescence is one of the largest competitive national flower shows sanctioned by the Garden Club of America in the United States. Florescence showcases floral and horticultural arrangements by garden club experts, renowned floral and garden designers, Houston, and other noted personalities. Many of these flower arrangements will be interpretations of masterpieces from the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston´s permanent collection. Collaboration | Tenenbaum served as the Grand Principal Underwriter for the 11th Biennial event. As a new addition to the event, and in honor of this year’s focus on the importance of pollination, Tenenbaum designed two rings featuring 18kt yellow gold bees decorated with turquoise and green tsavorites. These rings were raffled throughout the event and the winners were drawn at the luncheon on the final day of the show. Game. Set. Match. at ROCC

THE FOUR C’s Calendar | April 5 – 12, 2015 Characters | Fayez Sarofim & Co. U.S. Men’s Clay Court Championship at River Oaks Country Club Cause | The start of the Clay Court season begins on center court at ROCC with a singles and doubles tournament featuring some of the world’s most elite tennis players. This year, Fernando Verdasco, Tommy Robredo, Mike & Bob Bryan, John Isner, Jack Sock, Feliciano Lopez, Sam Querrey and Lleyton Hewitt. Collaboration | For the second year, Tenenbaum “served” as a Major Sponsor for the tournament. Through our support, Tenenbaum has donated two 4-sided post clocks which will live permanently on the grounds of the country club and will service the tennis facilities, in particular. The tournament, and ancillary events including the Tootsies’ Fashion Show, Players Party and Jazz Brunch, has become one of our most cherished partnerships! HGO’s Dazzling Diamond Anniversary

THE FOUR Cs Calendar: March 19, 2015 Characters: Houston Grand Opera Cause: Celebrating the 60th Anniversary (the diamond anniversary) of HGO with a special concert featuring Grammy Award winning mezzo-soprano, Joyce DiDonato. A seated dinner followed immediately on the stage of the Brown Theater and was attended by over 200 Opera supporters. Collaboration: Tenenbaum was proud to serve as the Diamond Grand Underwriter for the evening and one of our highlights was certainly seeing our diamonds dance on-stage as Joyce performed. We like to think that was one of her highlights, too! Houston Ballet’s Masked Ball

Collaboration: Tenenbaum & Co. was proud to support Houston Ballet as an auction underwriter, and the exclusive jeweler, through the donation of thirteen auction items! The auction items, which ranged from Deakin & Francis cufflinks to a diamond and multi-color sapphire necklace, helped raise over $60,000 for the organization. Celebrating the “Art of Adornment”

THE FOUR Cs Calendar | November 18, 2014 Characters | Chairs: Blakely Griggs, Cecilia Harris & Jennifer Segal; Hostess: Susanne Pritchard Cause | Another Great Night benefitting the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston. Ladies only! NO BOYS ALLOWED. Collaboration | The evening, presented by Tenenbaum & Co., was aptly themed Art of Adornment. As presenting sponsor, Tenenbaum designed 12 pairs of custom earrings that were awarded to the winners of the event’s main event: a scavenger hunt and quiz through the hostesses home centered around their outstanding contemporary art collection. To underscore the theme, Tenenbaum also adorned the dining room table with over $5 MILLION in jewels and invited guests to try their favorite pieces on. These pieces were selected and displayed alongside women who, throughout history, have been made famous by their love of gems and jewels! The inspiration included: Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroe, Coco Chanel, Grace Kelly and Wallace Simpson.
